An Episcopalian priest in recovery from addiction since 1972. Still active in several 12-Step Fellowships, I have no desire to leave them, to create a substitute for them, or to change them in any way. Along with a small but growing group of Christians and spiritual seekers in recovery, we are focused on helping women and men discover the AA Pioneer’s lost practice of Two Way Prayer. It has brought many of us into a new, and often more intimate, relationship with God.
Bill is the founder of a community supported non-profit Recovery Center for women and men that is located in Austin Texas. He is well loved by the Austin Recovery community. His talks are steeped in the history of AA.
